Handsome copperplate vignettes at head of each of the 6 chapters. Two title-pages, printed in red and black; elaborate printer's device to each title-page. Illustrated initials, elaborate woodcut head- and tail-pieces to the preliminary text. Shoulder notes. Hardcover, bound in contemporary full sprinkled calf, spine with raised bands, elaborately decorated in gilt, light brown morocco lettering-piece in gilt, rubbed and slightly worn at extremities; red sprinkled edges.
