Première Edition Anglaise de ce traité classique sur la peinture en miniature, paru pour la première fois en français en 1674. Il contient notamment de nombreuses indications sur la préparation des couleurs, ainsi qu'une planche gravée sur bois dans le texte décrivant l'utilisation d'un pantographe. Les exemplaires répertoriés contiennent apparemment 92 pages mais notre exemplaire en 90 pages a été relié tel quel à l'époque. Quelques rousseurs. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
