Contributions to an Amateur Magazine in Prose and Verse.
London: L. Booth, 1857. 8vo, original blind-stamped green cloth, gilt lettering. Apparently Perry's only book, the majority of which is devoted to a graphic account of his four-month voyage to Australia in 1847, his life in Melbourne, and the gold rush in 1851. This is followed by an essay on Pitt and about 50 pages of amusing and fairly accomplished poetry. There was a second edition in 1861 which omitted the section on Pitt. Fine copy. The NUC records two locations (NN & NcD).
