The Mirror of literature, amusement and instruction
33 - London - J.Limbird, 1823 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Half leather bindings with marbled boards. Thirteenbooks each containing two volumesof this periodical covering a wide range of subjects. The first twenty two volumes collate complete plus volumes 47 and 48 and 51 and 52. The Mirror of Literature, Amusement and Instruction ran from 1823 - 41. These volumes are illustrated throughout with engravings in the text. Condition: The bindings are tight and firm with all covers firmly attachedexcepton the book containing volumes XV and XVI on which the spine and rear board are detached from the binding though present. The hinge here is also cracked. There is some very minor wear to the extremities including bumping to the corners and rubbing to the boards. There are library stamps in all books. Internally clean and bright. There is some spotting, mainly to the front and rear of each text, as well as some handling marks and slight age toning within the text. Overall these books are in good condition..
