L Wyllie, Stanley Wood, Phil May Sidney Cowell and others.. 316 pages + 32 page publishers catalogue at rear. 220 illustrations and a photo frontispiece of the author, the whiskey manufacturer Thomas Dewar. the illustrations are on every page. Uncut edges and printed on thicker silk finish half gloss paper, original floral patterned endpapers, pale aquamarine colour illustrated cloth with gilt titles on spine and another illustration. the infinitesimal odd fault. several small foxing sots in contents pages. A Near Fine copy and no browning to paper. Scarce work despite being the 2nd edition. (as scarce as the 1894 1st. No other listed at time of this being offered). A narrative of his publicity visit to various countries to promote his whiskey company on the S.S. Paris initially. He saw and visited so many parts of the world it makes your head spin with the people and places he comments on, but all told with candor and humour. Great read!
