Correspondance D'Orient
31 1833 - The complete seven volumes of this correspondence. Written by Michaud and Poujoulat,this work is the exchange of their letters whilst travelling the Orient. Poujoulat was aFrench historian andhired by Joseph-Francois Michaud as editor of the Library of the Crusades. They both went to Greece and Palestine, although Poujoulat returned alone via Syria. This correspondence discusses their elucidations whilst writing Histoire des Croisades. Condition: In quarter calf with cloth covered boards. Externally, rubbed to spines. Rubbing is heaviest to volumes III, IV, V and VII and is mostly to the head and tail of spine to all volumes. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are age toned as expected with paper used. Bookmark ribbon present to all volumes. Spotting to the first and last few pages and the odd spots throughout. Overall:VERY GOOD.
