BAL's second state, with the frontispiece captioned Titian's Moses and the lack of vertical underlying lines in the lapel of the portrait. Finely bound by Brentano's in half deep blue morocco. spine in six compartments, gilt. Blue cloth sides. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. A fine copy . With a lengthy dedication to Franklin K., Moore, for "obtaining highest academic standing in his class during Junior Year at the Ridgewood High School." Doctor Moore taught at Cornell University's School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering during the latter part of the twentieth century. Earlier had had worked for NASA as director if aero-sciences at Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory. Fine.
