States First Edition. ; Henry Stephens Salt was a pioneer in various areas of social activism including Animal Rights. He was an early proponent of Veganism. The author of more that 40 books, this was his last title written before his death in 1939. This volume was the capstone of his thoughts on the commonality of human and animal species.
