Original ties preserved inside the front board. However, the original prize leaf has been removed. Moss p377 notes that "this is greatly superious in every respect to all the preceding editions, and is justly called EDITIO OPTIMA. The remarks, which are partly critical and partly explanatory, present a rich treasure of solid literature and happy illustrations". Dibdin p472. Ebert #4760.
