Sump'n Like Wings and A Lantern to See By; Two Oklahoma Plays
Samuel French, New York 1928 - A nice copy with a dust jacket that has done its job in protecting the book. The book itself is very nice and the gilt on the spine is as bright as the day it was published. Front cover is very clean except for the lightest of soiling around the edges. The rear cover has some spotting of a white material that does not clean. The dust jacket is 95% complete and hangs together but is missing several chips, none larger than a quarter. Inscribed by the author on the FFEP: 'For Anatol - "We [unintelligible] to hang together." -Lynn New York Feb. 22, 1931.' Anatol Bendukov was one of the principal managers of the original company of "Green Grows the Lilacs", the basis of the Rogers and Hammerstein musical "Oklahoma". Additional photos available on request. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
