Chapman and Hall, London 1851 - London: Chapman and Hall, 1851 through 1854. Four volumes. See scans. 12mo, respectively 344 pp., 339 pp., 325 pp., and 391 pp. Three-quarter calf and pebble cloth, morocco spine labels, raised bands, gilt spine titling and bars, dyed page edges. Some chipping at spines, with partial loss at some labels, one having been re-adhered (see scans); corners bumped and a bit worn, occasional wear at covers; no cracking anywhere at hinges. Light foxing at some front endpapers only; contents otherwise near fine. Each volume marked inside with the ownership stamp of George H. Listman; another early previous owner's inscription volume one. VolumeI lacks a title page (possibly as issued), other three title pages differ from each other. Overall, very good, and handsome. Volume one states: "In this collection of the Author's poems and dramas will be found some not before printed, and some entirely re-written from the more imperfect productions of earlier years. Few, if any, of the poems that have previously appeared have escaped revision and alteration."
