The Equinox. Vol. V, No. 2. The Official Organ of the A. A. The Review of Scientific Illuminism
Thelema Publishing Company, Nashville, TN 1979 - Hardcover. Large 8vo. [viii] + 404 pp [+ 4pp adverts] Special bronze-colored binding, with gilt title, etc. to spine and front cover. All edges gilt. Edition Deluxe - Limited to 200 specially bound copies, signed and numbered by Marcelo Motta. This copy SIGNED twice by Motta - once as '666' and once with his normal signature. Motta was notoriously averse to signing his works, and this is the only volume of his Equinox series that was produced as a signed limited edition. Contents: Praemonstrance, Poem in a Straight Line by Fernando Pessoa, The Slightly Smaller Stick [reviews], The Eighth Poem of the Keeper of the Herds by Fernando Pessoa, The O.T.O. Manifesto, Taking a Stand by Soror K.A., Liber LXV Commented by Aleister Crowley and Marcelo Ramos Motta, Untitled Poem by Jonathon Harker, Liber CCXXXI A Personal Research by Marcelo Ramos Motta, The Slightly Smaller Stick (II). A little rubbing to edges of boards and points, slight bulge in outer hinge of upper board (the boards are padded, and this copy was probably like this from new - with the padding not quite perfect). Very faint musty odour, otherwise a tight and bright, VG+ copy in VG+ dust jacket (spine a little darkened, no other flaws) [Attributes: Signed Copy; Hard Cover]
