London - Collins, 1986 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First edition. A first edition of Gash's Moonspender. Bound in cloth with gilt lettering and unclipped dustwrapper. First edition. John Grant (b. 1933) is an English crime writer, who writes under the pen name Jonathan Gash. He is the author of the Lovejoy series of novels. He wrote the novel The Incomer under the pen name Graham Gaunt. Lovejoy is a series of picaresque novels about the adventures of Lovejoy, a British antiques dealer based in East Anglia whose scruples are not always the highest. Condition: The binding is tight and firm. There is very slight wear to the extremities, with bumping to the top and tail of the spine only. There is almost no wear to the dust wrapper. Internally the pages are clean and bright. Overall the condition is near fine with near fine dustwrapper..
