Full green cloth with title in black on spine, and title-page vignette repeated on front cover. Quarto. Title-page vignette in green, three colored woodcut plates. Printed in Bembo type, set by hand and printed on dampened Fabriano Ingres paper. Fine in original glassine dust jacket. Prospectus laid in. Nature and poetry in this book are represented by poems of raccoons marauding his neighborhood, a robin wounded by hunters, snakes in a tree (these three are illustrated) as well as three others. The poetry is introduced by a few words by Mr. Kunitz about his annual drive each spring from NYC to Cape Cod to spend the summer. We feel his poetic genius is represented in our selections...
