A surrealist fantasy by Leonora Carrington (1917-2011), a British-born-Mexican artist, surrealist painter, and novelist, who lived most of her adult life in Mexico City, and was one of the last surviving participants in the Surrealist movement of the 1930s. The novel was published earlier in a French translation as LE CORNET ACOUSTIQUE (1974). Reginald 19509. A fine copy in nearly fine dust jacket with light wear at upper spine end and corner tips.
