A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 1)
U.S.A.: Bantam 1996 - Martin, George R.R. Hardcover. First Edition, First Printing. VG/VG. Inscribed. A very nice copy of A Game Of Thrones that has been inscribed by the author. Martin is an exceptional writer as his fans have long known. It took the success of the wonderful series of the same name on HBO to make his appeal widespread. This is the first book in the A Song Of Ice And Fire series and it is in VG condition. Spine is straight with slight concavity to head. Only markings are "signed", "ABE" "500-", "F", and "9/14" penciled in small print to the top of the half-title page. Top and base of spine are very lightly bumped and rolled. No dog ears or tears and minimal soiling to text block. The only notable flaws are from a center bump to the bottoms of both boards. Please refer to the attached photos for perspective. These are a minor detraction to an excellent copy of this book. First Edition, First Printing. Full number line is present. Bantam Spectra. 1996. DJ is in VG condition and mylar-protected. This is one of the better examples I have come across. Very light wrinkling to top of spine, and none to the base. There are a few other sporadic wrinkles to other areas of the DJ, but all are negligible. $21.95 issue price is present. This book is in a highly collectible condition and was signed and inscribed on the half-title page "To_____, May Your Winters Be Short" on the title page by George Martin. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy; Hard Cover]
