WILSON FAMILY LETTERS: Sent to Silver Creek, Chautauqua County, NY beginning 1826
FR/--. 1826-1892. Letters. Collection includes Data on Wilson Genealogy and George Tappen - Anna Kierstede marriage. These are letters from family members back to Silver Creek, NY. Letters from Scotland are from Johnstone, Bride of Mews, Glasgow, Linwood, etc. include names Aunt Jane Crawford, John Reid, James Wilson, etc. Other letters are from East Cambridge, Shegoygan Falls, WI, Burlington, WI, Waupum, WI, Okland, MO, Dixon, IL, Brighton, WI and Southport. Most of the letters are addressed to James Wilson who became a US citizen 27th. June 1837. 14 letters are stampless covers and there are many other 19th. century letters all collected in an open wooden box stamped "Colorado" .
