Thomas, Phila; title-page. 194 pp. Full, old mottled calf with a red morocco leather title label with gilt titling on the spine, gilt designs on the spine. The front inner hinge is starting, chipping to upper spine end, general wear, rubbing to edges, corners, spine & cover margins; foxing and brown stains are present to the portrait and most pages. With the bookplate of Edwin Fay Rice, featuring a Daniel Webster portrait (designer's initials & date: H.L.D. 1901), on the front paste-down endpaper. A very scarce item. Lady Emma Hamilton (1761-1815), was the artist, George Romney's favorite model and the confidante of Lord Nelson. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
