Original red fine-ribbed cloth, covers with decorative blind border surrounding central gilt vignette and lettering on upper, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges gilt. Front hinge repaired, rear hinge starting; laid into a green full morocco gilt pull-off slipcase, with green chemise, by Root & Co. Booklabel of Lewis A. Hird.
