Printed for J. Wilkie, London, 1765. Second Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Originally a pamphlet, this has been rebound in brown gilt stamped leather over boards, marbled endpapers, contains original title page, 23 pages, printed the same year as the first, poet and parliamentarian Jenyns defends the Stamp Act and the right of the British to tax the colonists. Covers lightly soiled from handling, corners and spine ends lightly bumped (back top corner a little more than the others), title page has some small stains, someone has written in the author's name on title page, a couple of penciled numbers on title page, a little soil or faint foxing on top margin and fore edge margins of pages 21-23.
