London: R Blamire, 1789 Two volumes bound as 1. In contemporary brown speckled full leather, a little bumped and worn at corners and edges. Spine has gilt tooling, title in gilt to red leather label, edges a little worn. Internally, newer endpapers, bookplate of Marshall Laird to fep with ink note, ink name to head of titlepage, (xvi), 152 pp, with 17 oval hand coloured aquatints by Jukes. Bound with Three Essays, 1st edition, [4], (viii), 88 pp with 6 hand coloured oblong plates and 1 line drawing (Three Essays: on Picturesque Beauty; on Picturesque Travel; and on Sketching. Followed by 5 pp listing the contents of the Poem. Followed by Landscape Painting, A Poem, (v), [2], 44 pp, (iii), explanation of the Prints, Errata and adverts) A lovely copy, the plates are clear and bright!
