London:. 1834.. Map of South East Australia, with insets of "The Colony of Western Australia..." and "New Holland or Australia" with surrounding islands. Published 15th February 1834, folding map on linen, 60 x 49 cm. The map covers from Moreton Bay to the Great Australian Bight. IA key to expeditions from 1817 - 1830 is printed above the title, listing explorers' names, locations and how many miles traversed. Expeditions include Oxley, Hume, Cunningham, Sturt. The Cunningham 1831 expedition is recorded but not included in the key. Tooley #99, p. 16. Original green pebbled cloth panels as self-covers, but no slipcase. 13.5 x 19 cm folded. Steel engraved, original outline color, full margin outside impression mark. Some offsetting o/w very good condition.
