(SZUKALSKI, STANISLAW). Szukalski, Stanislaw. THE WORK OF SZUKALSKI. Chicago: Covici-McGee, 1923. First Edition. Large 4to. 1/4 Tan over Brown Buckram. Artist Monograph. Good./No Jacket. np, profusely illustrated in b&w with 14 color plates accompanied by spider web embossed glassine overlays. Full edge gilt. In a protective clear acetate dustwrapper. This is example number 242 of an unspecified edition (believed to be one thousand copies at most) of the Holy Grail of Szukalski items!!! A presentable copy only showing some dampstaining to the front cover and slight rippling of the first thirty-six pages. The spine ends are a bit frayed and rubbed, with the buckram covers showing a bit of marring and scuffing. Ever so lightly shaken, the text block is totally sound. It has been priced accordingly. PLEASE NOTE: Additional shipping costs are required for this item beyond our standard rates due to its weight and value - we will inform you of the applicable amount at time of purchase.
