Eastward the Armies
Labyrinth Editions, Athens, Oh. 1980 - Signed by Everson and Killion on the Edition Statement page at end of book. An anthology of the pacifist poetry of William Everson, printed from handset type by Richard Bigus of Labyrinth Editions, with linoleum prints by Tom Killion.Linocuts and wood engraving by Tom Killron. Printed and published by Labyrinth Editions on Hosho and other Japanese papers. 70 pages plus portfolio. Leather thong side stitch with decorative papers by printer. This copy has some issues. The wooden slipcase has seen better days with heavy shelf wear, hence the Fair condition rating. The book itself would be classified as VG+ but for the following details: the leather ties at the spine are externally broken with s few parts missing (does not affect binding), and the boards have a slight lift at the front edge. Internally, leaves are clean and undamaged. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy; Hard Cover]
