Tokyo: CameraArt, 1961 Hardcover SIGNED. First edition, first printing. Near Fine hardcover with two blunted tips, a light bump to the heel, and one tiny abrasion in a Fine dust jacket with a touch of wear to the spine ends in a Near Fine publisher's printed card slipcase with light overall rubbing with the promotional belly band. Tipped in to the last page is the colophon information with a vellum overlay. A very nice copy. All dust jackets are protected by a clear mylar cover. BOOKS SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, WRAPPED IN PADDING, IN A BOX. Photographs by Eikoh Hosoe; poems by Taro Yamamoto; text by Ed van der Elsken and Tatsuo Fukushima. Unpaginated [64 pages]; 34 full-page or full-spread gravure-printed b&w plates; 7.25 x 9.5 inches. Text in Japanese. SIGNED BY HOSOE on the ffep in silver ink; no inscription. Hosoe's first book; a collaboration with choreographer Tatsumi Hijikata and Butoh dancers to explore the relationships between men and women.
