Notes on Nursing. What It Is, and What It Is Not. New Edition, Revised and Enlarged.
London, Harrison, 1860 - First Edition. Very good but with some edgewear to corners and spine extremities. With the original black stiff card binding and endpapers. Content remarkably clean. Not rebound or recased. Neat contemporary inscription dated 1872 on front free endpaper. Only 2000 of these were ever printed, and this edition was intended for professional use. 221 pages and then a table. The best and far more substantial 1860 edition of the most important of all the seminal works on nursing, by the icon herself, and still in print today! After the table on the last page appears the words : "A cheaper Edition is also published, price of Two Shillings, in limp cloth." Hardback. No dj. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
