With numerous illustrations in the text. Francis Turner Palgrave, 1824 - 1897, was an English anthologist and art critic. This work is dedicated to his own children. Bookplate of Robert J. Hayhurst to front pastedown. Condition: In a green cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just some minor shelfwear and a couple of marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, but with some scattered light foxing. Overall: VERY GOOD INDEED..
