New York: Spiral Press, 1952. Spiral Press, New York, 1952. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good Condition. Illustrator: Cook, Howard. Signed by Author. Size: 24mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Limited First Edition Christmas card with drawings by Howard Cook, with the scarce errata sheet initialed and dated by Frost. Side stapled illustrated wraps with end flaps, on front flyleaf is written: "a new poem McGinn brings you Holiday Greetings from Robert Frost at Christmas 1952", no page numbers (four pages), explanatory footnotes on two pages frontispiece and one other drawing in text. The printed errata sheet reads: "This Christmas poem, though not isolationist, is so dangerously near isolationists, it was thought better to send it out for Independence Day instead of Christmas." Frost has initialed the note and dated it July 4 '53. Errata sheet has small piece of top left corner torn off, two inch slit in the wraps at fold with front flap, covers lightly wrinkled.
