Binding slightly discoloured, gilt bright, upper corners slightly faded, rebacked with original browned backstrip laid on, top corners soft and slightly worn, inner paper hinges expertly repaired, tiny bookseller's blind label on front pastedown, small piece neatly removed from lower blank corner of page xi. A very good clean tight copy. The book covers: Buying Wine; Portuguese, Spanish and Hungarian; German; French; South African; Choice of a Cellar; Wine Making; Brandy; Adulteration and Measures; Consumption.
