Vol 3 part ii Madras part iii Bombay iv + xiv + 441 pages 1 map Bombay xii + 355 page1 coloured folding map. .Ink inscription to verso of title pages "This book is to be preserved in the library of the Home Department 1871" ink page numbers to blank corner margins , no library stamps or marks .The books tightly bound in plain cloth 2 leather labels with volume numbers, title gilt stamped to cloth of spine .
