Clean, tight text block with only a very subtle discolouration towards some of the edges, with a small stain on a few of the pages. In blue dust jacket with red and black writing on front cover. Dust jacket is faded at spine, on back and lightly on the top edge of front. Light bumping and a small closed tear to the dust jacket at top of spine. A lovely copy. The first book of poetry by the Canadian poet whose writing career spans almost 70 years. He has published more than 50 volumes of his own verse, and edited or co-edited a dozen volumes of others' poetry.
