Magick in theory and practice by the Master Therion (Aleister Crowley)
[Paris]: [Lecram Press], 1929. subscriber's edition. Hardcover. Subscriber’s edition. (“Published for subscribers only” printed at the bottom of the title page). Tall 8vo. pp. XXXIV, 436. Bound in publisher’s maroon buckram cloth. No dust-jacket. The bottom corner tip of the front cover is bumped; an almost imperceptible fade line is present on the inner rear cover (running parallel to the spine). The binding is otherwise fresh. A small name and date are written in the upper corner of the inside front cover. The front and rear fly-leaves are age-toned. Interior pages are generally clean. A miniscule spot is present in the top margin of the final two leaves. This is Aleister Crowley’s famous work describing his system of ceremonial magic (magick). In 1929 the work first appeared in four installments with individual wrappers. The book was then issued in the same year as a single volume [here offered] with the line “printed for subscribers only” at the bottom of the title page.
