Chapman & Hall, 1939. First Edition. Good/No Dustjacket. 308 pages. Fading red board hardcover, with clean, lightly tanned pages and firm binding. Light to fair tanning on ffep, with very slight foxing on title page. Pages are otherwise clean. Light to fair tanning on fore-edge, with 2cm thick pen marking on bottom side. Ex-library, with torn out library label and one small stamp on inside of back board. Boards are fair to good, fair rub wear on front and back boards, with moderate to fair tanning and bumping to corners and spine ends. Very small split at bottom spine end, with fair sunning on spine. 1x2 inch marking on bottom, center of front board (possibly caused by a library sticker). Scarce.
