Bound in the original stiff blue wrappers, bit discoloured and marked, name label to cover. In fine condition. Excellent interior. ~ First edition. Very rare. Both OCLC and KVK locates two copies worldwide, one at British Library; one at Clark University. It includes a 2-leaf ?Stars of the Northern Hemisphere on a Revolving Chart? printed in blue and white, with the disc revolving on a metal axis. The folding plan shows the principle constellations visible in latitude 50 degrees N. Royal Artillery Major George Nevile Wyatt was the Chief Instructor in map reading and field sketching at the Royal Military Academy. - - Provenance: R. B. Eastwood's, British military analyst, copy, with a name label to that effect on cover.
