Volume 2 is slightly chipped at spine ends. Both volumes somewhat worn and bumped. Small notes on endpapers. Occasional foxing. Cesar-Pierre Richelet (1626-1698) was a French grammarian and lexicographer best known as the compiler of the first French dictionary. His "letters" are often satirical. [Attributes: First Edition]
