Le Reading del Monsieur Denshall, Sur L'estatute de Finibus fait Anno 4 Hen 7 [1489]. Finis finem Litibus imponit. Wing D1052
The most famous reading (of three) given by the Lincoln's Inn bencher and the only one to be published, delivered in November 1531 and, in John Baker's words, "circulat[ing] very widely over the next century", complementing Coke's reading on fines. Modern 1/4 calf over marbled boards, a stain to the top of the title, light browning, margins cut a bit close, else quite sound; the Taussig copy. Excudebat I.C. Impenis G. Lee [and others], London, 1662.
