FIRST UK EDITION 1937, dated on reverse of title page, small oblong format, 130 x 175 mm, 5 x 7 inches, blue cloth, large colour illustrated label to upper cover, dark blue lettering to spine, illustrated endpapers, 94 pages. 4 colour plates, numerous line drawings. A delightful story: Patrick Pink the pig has very good ideas to help rescue his homeless mistress. Very narrow faded strip at lower edge of covers, very slight faint foxing to pastedowns, contents very clean, no inscriptions. Very good plus in very good DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped, tiny chips to head and tail of spine and corners, 30 mm (1ΒΌ") closed tear on lower panel, with partial loss of 1 letter, a couple of tiny closed tears, old sellotape repairs on reverse, lower panel a bit dusty-looking).
