The Floricultural Cabinet, and Florist's Magazine
London; 1835-1842: Whittaker and Co. Volumes 3-10, containing 112 hand colored plates overall, which includes two folding color plates and one black & white plate of The Gardens of the Royal Botanical Society, five volumes with the additional engraved title page, contemporary owner's name and with his notations and underlining within some volumes, another previous owner's bookplate, all bound in full olive polished calf with the exception of the last two volumes which are bound in 3/4 olive polished calf over marbled boards (rubbed), all spines have uniformly changed to tan, one plate with margins a bit cropped and minor light scattered foxing to a handful of plates. A very nice, clean set showing only a few leaves with toning.. Octavo.
