Early edition of Sibly';s Illustration of the Occult Sciences with 1798 pencilled at the bottom of the title page (not by us). 1/2 leather and marbled boards. Lacking front free endpaper. Previous owner unfortunately hand a name stamp and an ink pad which he use quite ferociously. This fellow stamped his name on many pages of this book and maddeningly right smack in the middle of the handsome engraved plate at page 62 he stamped "This book was stolen from xxx Weinsberg, Germany". Digital photographs are available upon request. Very Good binding.
