Bound with: DEBORAH DENT AND HER DONKEY; and Madam Fig's Gala: Two Humorous Tales. Embellished with seventeen neatly coloured comic engravings. A K. Newman & Co. No date. [circa 1835.]. 35 [36] pages, each printed on one side only. With an hand-coloured frontispiece bearing two images, and sixteen other hand-coloured engravings. Both bound together, possibly as issued in recent half morocco gilt over marbled boards. 12mo. Some marking; the occasional trace of scribble; else a very good pair. Dean & Munday and A.K. Newman often published works together, with Newman taking the smaller portion of the stock. It was not uncommon for their remainder stock to be issued bound-up together.
