Front board with a gilt crest with the words ‘LEWISHAM GRAMMAR SCHOOL FOR GIRLS’, with gilt patterns in the corners of both the front and rear boards. Spine contains gilt floral patterns with a green label with the titles ‘Women of Christendom – Charles’. Marble page edges, paste downs and free endpapers. Prize Lewisham plate on the front paste down. Title page is clean, bright and clear, as are the pages throughout. A very nice copy.   Condition Report Externally Spine – very good condition.
