Listed in Howes and Sabin, a work which was never completed. INSCRIBED with long notes by Hinman. On the second front free endpaper: "It is my desire that this book should be kept in my family as it is the only bound volume that I am aware was ever bound, of the five pamphlets I published, not be sold or loaned out of the family as the children when they advance in life will find it more interesting than when young. Royal K. Hinman" On the rear free endpaper: "Common names in North Wales, Evans, Hughes, Jones, Owens, Thomas, Williams. These are the most common , and the names of Griffiths, Lewis . . . Taken May 9 1848 — by Samuel Olmstead, Professor at N. Y. R. R. Hinman". Front and rear boards detached but present, spine worn, text bright, very good.
