Emery with Compliments of The Author'; 214, 25 (Kellar's aids to Arithmetical Calculations) pp., portrait frontispiece, illustrations in text, original red cloth with all edges gilt; binding rubbed with light damp stain at one corner and at spine but still a sound copy, a group of eight leaves toward the end are browned and these and a few adjacent leaves are also damp stained in lower inside corner and part of lower margin, only light general age toning to the rest of the text, overall good+; a good deal of the book is a travel narrative written in the third person, as if Satan, Junior were recounting the adventures of his master.
