Geneva: Petrum & Iacobum Choet, 1612. Leather_bound. Good. 166 + 8 p. 12 cm. Leather with blank impressing. Spine label worn off. Small crack in rear cover. One worn upper corner. This book has been attributed to Lucius Fenestella, a Roman historian who died A.D. 20 at the age of 70. Mentioned by Pliny, Gellius, and many other ancient authors, Fenestella wrote annals in many books. This book on the magistrates of Rome, however, is now known to be the production of Dominic Floccus, a 15th-century Florentine. Latin text.
