A presentation copy inscribed by Richard (Diccon) Hughes to Cecil Maud Boulton, mother of Agnes Boulton, second wife of playwright Eugene O'Neill, in the year of publication: "To Mrs. Boulton, from Diccon, May 31st, 1929."
