City Library and a few other markings not on plates, otherwise in very good condition. A masterpiece of 19th-century chromolithography. The beautiful plates present more than 2,000 motifs and decorative patterns throughout the centuries. First published in 1873, this book has lengthy descriptive text for each section, along with a general introduction
