William Gardner Smith, 1866-1928, was a British botanist. He was a lecturer at Edinburgh and Leeds, and researched at Munich. Condition: In a cloth binding. Externally, shelfwear, with just a little splitting to the cloth to the joints. The front hinge is strained. Internally, generally firmly bound, with some browning and spots, prominent to the first and last pages of each pamphlet or extract. The fold-out maps have some closed tears. Overall: VERY GOOD..
