The Stranger in Ireland; or, a Tour in the Southern and Western Part of that Country, in the Year 1805
London: Richard Phillips. 1806. First printing. Hardcover. Very Good. First printing, 1806. Quarto (approx. 9 x 11 inches) bound in mid to late 19th century half maroon cloth and marbled boards, no spine lettering or label, later endpapers, 530pp., with 17 plates (folding frontispiece of Dublin plus 16 plates as called for, including foldout plates, color map of Killarney, other acquatint plates). Condition is about very good, some wear and rubbing to binding, contents very good, slight age toning, minor foxing to borders and margins of plates and occasionally to margins of pages. Collated complete. Nice copy in a slightly dull binding. Some copies apparently also have an uncalled-for map of Ireland, ours does not. Very wide margined copy. . catalog10/12
