London - George G. Harrap, 1921 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First edition. The Year's At The Spring An Anthology Of Recent Poetry compiled by L. D. O. Walters with an introduction by Harold Monro. With colour and black and white illustrations by Harry Clarke. First edition. Includingpoems by Thomas Hardy, W. B. Yeats, Walter De La Mare and Rupert Brooke. Harry Clarke (1889 - 1931) was an Irish stained glass artist and book illustrator and a leading figure in the Irish Arts and Crafts Movement. Harold Edward Monro (1879- 1932) was a British poet, the proprietor of the Poetry Bookshop in London which helped many famous poets bring their work before the public. Condition: In a cloth binding. Externally, sound but with slight wear to extremities and marks to boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Bright and generally clean throughout but with foxing to endpapers only and odd slight foxing in places. Overall: VERY GOOD.
