Don Bradman Cricket Flicker Book (late Cut)
Flicker Productions - In the late 1920's Norman Loudon, who later went on to found Shepperton Film Studios, was experimenting with high speed photography, producing flicker books which he thought could prove an invaluable aid to sportsmen looking to improve their technique by observing the top players in each field in great detail at each stage of their actions. Reprint. 2x3", 98pp. This volume is a variation of number 2 of the 'Flicker: Teach the Game - First series' depicting Don Bradman demonstrating the Late Cut only from the originals two, "Square Cut and Late Cut". It is slightly larger than the original though all images are the same. Internally very good, clean and bright. Bound in brown linen without titles or publication details. Slightly curved cover and a little rubbed. [Padwick 693, 7360]
